Hof has the highest corona incidence
Four federal states exceeded an incidence value of 100 on Friday, i.e. the number of new infections reported per 100,000 inhabitants within one week: Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Saarland.
The border region with the Czech Republic remains a focus of the corona pandemic in Germany.

The districts of Tirschenreuth (364) and Hof (338) and the city of Hof (327) in the Bavarian border region are currently hardest hit.

The lowest incidences are currently in Baden-Württemberg, Hamburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony, where the number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants fell below 70 in the last seven days.
In 74 urban and rural districts, the incidence is now again below the limit value of 50. The city districts of Zweibrücken (12) and Emden (16) currently have the best values, followed by the rural and urban districts of Dithmarschen, Trier, Plön, Bernkastel- Wittlich, Emmendingen, Lüchow-Dannenberg and Heidekreis, all of which report an incidence below 25.
