The Canadian actor Christopher Plummer, revealed by "The melody of happiness", died at the age of 91, announced this Friday his agent, quoted by the American media.

“Chris was an amazing man who deeply loved and respected his profession,” said Lou Pitt, his friend and agent for decades.

Christopher Plummer had a 75-year career but had to wait until the venerable age of 82 to win his first Oscar, in 2012, for a supporting role alongside Ewan McGregor and the French Mélanie Laurent in "Beginners".
