More than a week after a violent explosion, there was another loud detonation in Berlin-Schöneberg.

Two suspects, a 27-year-old and a 29-year-old, were arrested on Thursday evening in Eisackstrasse, the police announced on Friday.

No one was injured.

There was no major damage to property.

In addition to the explosion device, another possible explosives device and chemicals were seized.

The police were on duty with a special task force (SEK).

The police are investigating the background according to their own statements in all directions.

In particular, a connection to an explosion in Fritz-Reuter-Strasse on January 20 is being examined.

Windows and cars were damaged in the violent explosion.

A 60-year-old man was slightly injured in the leg by parts of a traffic sign flying around.

At first it was unclear whether it was an illegal New Year's Eve boom or a self-made or military explosive device.
