[Commentary] Have you seen painting on water?

On February 4th, Kurbanjiang Rouzi, an ancient city in Kashgar, Xinjiang, was creating a water extension painting in his studio. He poured the adjusted water into a container, dripped the ground paint into the water, and then put the pen on the surface of the water. I made a few simple outlines on the paint, and then rubbed the paintings created by the water surface on white paper, so that a pair of water rubbing tulips appeared in front of everyone.

[Explanation] In 2009, Kurbanjang Ruz went to Urumqi to visit Xinjiang painter Haz Amat. During the chat, Haz Amat told him that when he visited the Republic of Uzbekistan, he saw some foreign painters’ water. The painting work reminds the painter Hazi Amat in that this art can be traced back to the 8th and 9th centuries in China. It is inextricably linked with the art of "Drifting Sand Paper" in the Tang and Song Dynasties. It has been developed along the way, but it has been lost for a long time in China. I hope that Kurbanjan Rouzi can continue his research and creation of water painting.

[Explanation] Kurbanjang Rozi kept the teacher’s expectation in mind. After returning to Kashgar, he took action. After consulting a lot of historical data and nearly 6 years of research, he finally successfully mastered it in 2016. Water transfer and color ratio of water extension painting.

At the beginning of the study of water extension painting, I failed a lot, why I didn’t know how to adjust the water and paint at the beginning, so I will gradually adjust the paint, and the water will be too, but I paint. Sometimes, there are times when I can make one or two hundred a day, and I can make it, but I don’t have ten of them that I am more satisfied with. At the beginning, it looked like this. After I developed it, all of them failed. After four or five years, every time I continue to do this thing, I will not give up every time I fail, and I will succeed in the end if I continue doing it.

[Explanation] Kurbanjang Rouzi's water painting works mainly include roses, carnations, tulips, etc. He told reporters that the creation of roses is the most difficult, and it took him 5 years to create it and he was quite satisfied. s work.

Now Kurbanjan Rouzi has expanded the rubbing medium from paper to silk and wood.

In the next step, Kurbanjiang·Ruzi plans to combine water painting and earthenware art to create earthenware water painting works.

[Explanation] Kurbanjang Rozi said that the creative method of Shui Tuo painting is very unique. Painting on the water has a unique artistic effect. It can bring many unexpected surprises to creators and viewers in the creation. The reason why paintings are loved by more and more people is not only because of the unique creative techniques, but also because the water painting works are never copied. Every time you paint, the water medium and the paint can show a different state after the fusion. It is impossible to create two identical water-tuo paintings, and it is impossible to copy them to add a touch of mystery to the water-tuo paintings.
