The accident resulted in 10 deaths and 1 loss of connection.
After receiving the report, the Susong County and Anqing City Party committees and governments immediately organized emergency, public security, fire rescue, agriculture, maritime and blue sky rescue teams to carry out on-site rescue.
As of 19:00 on the 5th, 3 people had been rescued and they were sent to the hospital for examination and found to be in normal physical condition; 10 people were salvaged ashore, all without vital signs; and 1 person lost contact.
