Fukui Prefecture announced on the 4th that two people, a woman in her 20s in Fukui City and a man in her 30s in Awara City, were confirmed to be infected.
The infection has been confirmed in Fukui prefecture three days ago since the 1st of this month, and the total number of infected people has reached 519.
Fukui Prefecture has issued an "infection spread warning" until the 7th of this month, calling for thorough countermeasures.
