Daphné Bürki presents Saturday evening at 9 pm on France 2 "Secours Pop, la grande Soirée", a fundraising program for the Secours Populaire association.

And the show is announced in the image of its presenter: joyful.

She unveils some surprises Thursday at the microphone Philippe Vandel in "Media Culture".

INTERVIEW

Donations that fall and requests for aid that explode: the health situation makes the task even more difficult for associations helping the most deprived.

Fortunately, the Secours Populaire can count on its godmother, the host Daphné Bürki.

She edited and presents Saturday evening live at 9 p.m. on France 2,

For this evening, Daphné Bürki was inspired by the "Secours pop rock" concert.

"I've been talking about it with France Televisions for three years. We couldn't really find the system," she explains.

This year, when the needs of the association are increased, it's mission accomplished.

"We will be able to party in his living room in front of his TV", rejoices the presenter.

And indeed, between the singers, the comedians and the surprises of this live evening, France 2 seems to have made a real celebration of solidarity.

A program worthy of a great festival

"We will obviously start with the song

Besoin d'amore

, because we have so much, so much, so much need", reveals Daphné Bürki.

"I also invited Gilbert Montagné who will sing with Pomme. I'm like crazy!"

And the rest of the programming is also worthy of a great French festival.

“Matthieu Chedid, who is a friend of Secours populaire, will be there,” begins to list the presenter.

"Vanessa Paradis, Julien Doré, Clara Luciani, Camélia Jordana, Jane Birkin, Catherine Ringer, Tété, JoeyStarr, Yaura, Benjamin Biolay, Barbara Pravi, and others…"

Comedy "drunk" by Daphné Bürki

But the list of guests for this evening of solidarity is far from stopping there.

Many actors and comedians will also be present: Florence Foresti, Jean Dujardin, Josiane Balasko, Alex Lutz, Gilles Lellouche, Manu Payet, François-Xavier Demaison and Elie Semoun have responded.

Rare thing: none of its artists come as part of the promotion of a show.

"It's really very generous", congratulates Daphné Bürki, who invited a large part of it herself.

"I called them all the Christmas holidays, I got them drunk," she laughs.

The PPDA tie

This evening of entertainment is above all a fundraising evening.

In addition to the calls for donations by SMS to 9 22 22, the show will also be the launch of a raffle, for which a hundred stars have given personal prizes.

"There are crazy lots," warns the presenter.

"Patrick Poivre d'Arvor gives the tie of his first newscast on Antenne 2. It's a cult object. But, above all, he will really resume his 8:00 pm news on Saturday evening. I won't tell you more. But he lots of pretty amazing things are going to happen, we have some crazy surprises. "

+ 45% request for help

These donations and the proceeds from this raffle are more necessary than ever for Secours Populaire.

"They called me at the start of the first confinement saying that they no longer had face-to-face events and that they did not know how they were going to collect donations or even run the association", explains Daphné Bürki .

"And there is this scary figure: + 45% of applicants. Students, entrepreneurs, retirees, single-parent families who had never pushed the door of the association and who were ashamed to ask for food, legal advice, help getting back to work or something for their child. "

Secours Pop, the big evening

must therefore help the association to carry out its mission of helping the most disadvantaged.

The show is broadcast on Saturday evening at 9 p.m. on France 2, live from the Cirque d'Hiver.
