"Subtraction" is more complicated than "addition"

Location: China Railway Beijing Bureau Group Corporation Dispatching Command Center Person: Zhang Hongjie, Director of High-speed Railway Dispatching Office

In the dispatching command center of Beijing Railway Bureau, which is brightly lit for 24 hours, in front of the dispatching desk, more than a dozen screens display different information. Some dispatchers are staring at the screens, some answering and dialing dispatching calls, and others One scheduling command is being issued.

Under their command, trains are running in an orderly manner.

This dispatching command center is larger than half of the World Cup football field.

"Here, we fight at home every day." said Zhang Hongjie, director of the high-speed rail dispatching office of the Beijing Bureau Dispatching Office.

With the increase of high-speed rail lines, the number of high-speed rail dispatching stations in the command center is still increasing.

In the past two years, three high-speed rail dispatch stations, Jingxiong, Jingzhang, and Jingha, have been continuously added.

At present, the high-speed rail dispatching room has 10 high-speed rail lines and 11 dispatching stations to ensure the safety and stability of 2,400 kilometers of lines. The number of dispatchers has grown to 142.

"The high-speed rail dispatcher is not someone who wants to be. It takes at least two to three years of normal-speed train dispatching experience to sit on this high-speed rail dispatching seat." Zhang Hongjie said that the high-speed rail has a maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The situation can be accurately and promptly responded to, and the dispatcher must have various emergency plans and rapid handling procedures in his mind, and he must undergo two months of regulation training before starting his job.

"If all railway regulations are printed out, the catalogue alone will have to be a thick copy. This is the secret to ensuring the operation of the railway."

This year's Spring Festival Transport is very different from previous years. Affected by the epidemic, many citizens choose to celebrate the New Year on the spot, and railway passenger traffic has dropped significantly.

In response to changes in passenger flow, several high-speed rail trains were suspended.

"Originally, the train operation plan for the Spring Festival Transport has been arranged, but now it is necessary to adjust one by one, check it row by row, and then import the information into the operation command system. After the adjustment, the train operation and line signals will follow the new operation. The plan will come true." Zhang Hongjie said that because of the need to constantly check carefully, canceling a train requires more patience and care than adding another train. "Subtraction" is more complicated than "addition."

There are fewer trains, but the pressure of the Spring Festival is not small.

The annual Spring Festival travel season coincides with the severe winter season, and the rain, snow, and windy weather can easily affect the operation of the high-speed rail.

The temperature along the Beijing-Harbin high-speed railway newly opened this year is even lower. If the catenary is frozen, it will affect the train's power supply and cause the train to be delayed.

"A few days ago, the Beijing-Harbin High-speed Railway received weather warnings of strong wind and snow. As a dispatch, we prepared in advance, contacted the maintenance, passenger transportation and other departments to prepare diesel locomotives for the first time when the catenary freezes. Rescue can reduce the waiting time of passengers." Zhang Hongjie said that because of the timely rescue, the time affected by the line operation has been reduced by 1 to 2 hours.

During the epidemic, the dispatcher has an extra responsibility: to do a good job of collecting information on close contacts.

"Receiving information from close contacts or close contacts, the dispatcher must promptly notify the captain and driver to arrange the station ahead and disinfect the train and station in time." Zhang Hongjie said that all these tasks require the dispatcher to be in all parties. Coordination between.

After New Year's Day this year, the epidemic in Shijiazhuang touched the hearts of people across the country.

Affected by the epidemic control, Shijiazhuang high-speed rail drivers and flight attendants are unable to serve passengers normally.

But the train cannot be left unattended.

In order to allow the normal operation of the high-speed rail, Zhang Hongjie coordinated with relevant departments to allocate capacity.

Dozens of high-speed rail drivers in the Beijing Locomotive Depot went south to take on more crew tasks and ensure the normal operation of the high-speed rail.

Zhang Hongjie's home is in Tianjin.

Due to the needs of epidemic prevention and control, he has not returned home for a month.

"Originally, I could go home by riding the Beijing-Tianjin intercity, but now I live in the unit's dormitory nearby for the prevention and control of the epidemic." Zhang Hongjie said, like him, many colleagues from other places chose to stay in the unit.

In fact, as a railway worker, it has become the norm to gather less and more frequently during the festive season.

In 1996, Zhang Hongjie, who graduated from Shijiazhuang Railway Transportation School, entered railway work.

Started from a small watchman and signalman at Tianjin Station.

In 2008, the Beijing-Tianjin intercity railway with a maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour was opened. After selection, Zhang Hongjie became one of the first batch of 12 high-speed train dispatchers in the country. Since then, he has been with the high-speed rail dispatching work.

After entering the railway for 25 years, counting down, only one year’s New Year’s Eve is spent at home.

In other years, Zhang Hongjie was either on duty at the station or accompanied by the dispatching station.

"This year, we can't go home even more. We celebrate the New Year on the spot." Zhang Hongjie said with a smile.
