Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, announced that it has been confirmed that a total of four women in their 20s, men in their 60s, and two women in their 90s are infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Yamaguchi Prefecture to 1,254.
