Sébastien Chabal, former international third line and ambassador for the 2023 Rugby World Cup which will take place in France, was the guest of Sébastien Krebs on Wednesday morning in Europe Matin.

Sébastien Chabal recognizes him, his long beard and long hair have a lot to do with the way we perceive him.

"I think that represents me quite a bit. I'm a bit in this comic book like what people imagine of me. I've been given a lot of nicknames, I've been drawn a lot, but this This represents me well. It is quite round, soft and a little raw, so I find it very nice, "he explains.

The 2023 World Cup, "a real breath of fresh air"

"I quit rugby six years ago and I'm very, very happy to join a rugby team, even if it's only in a comic book, it brings back some great memories. true that in the collective unconscious of all the players, this comic is there. So I am proud to join them for a little adventure ", continues the former international, who also worked as a consultant around this comic.

The future ambassador for the next World Cup also said he was looking forward to this great sporting event to come.

"It's true that it starts to take a long time to see empty speakers, even if you can hear the players talking right now during matches, we don't want that. We want to be able to spend moments of conviviality. I believe that sport is there for that. And it is true that 2023 is going to be a real breath of fresh air and I really hope that the public will be back in the stadiums at that time ".
