In the last twenty-four hours, 404 Covid-19 patients have died in hospital according to data from Public Health France on Tuesday evening.

Hospitalizations are also still on the rise in France, including in intensive care.

The day before, France had recorded 456 deaths of coronavirus patients in hospital, bringing the total of deaths to 76,512 since the start of the epidemic (hospitals and medico-social establishments such as nursing homes).

More than 28,000 hospitalized patients

On Tuesday, 28,029 Covid-19 patients were hospitalized (+155 compared to the day before), including 2,189 new admissions in twenty-four hours (against 1,750 on Monday), according to the Public Health France database.

And 3,270 patients, among the most serious cases, were in intensive care or intensive care, a figure also on the rise (+52), with 369 new admissions in twenty-four hours (against 318).

The number of new cases has not been communicated by the health agency.

Four weeks after the start of vaccination in France, more than 1.54 million people received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Among them, a little more than 67,000 had received the two doses Monday evening, according to Public Health France which gives these figures with a day of delay.
