Recently, under the coordination of the Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group's International Office of Fleeing Recovery and Recovery, and through the joint efforts of Hebei Province, Baoding City, and Gaobeidian City, the three-level Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Liang Zuofa, a criminal suspect who fled abroad, returned to China to surrender the case.

Liang Zuofa, male, born in December 1970, former general manager of Liaoning Antai Electric Power Co., Ltd., was suspected of bribing leaders of state-owned enterprises and fled in July 2014.

In October 2014, Gaobeidian City People's Procuratorate filed a case for investigation.

After the reform of the supervision system, the Gaobeidian Supervisory Committee was responsible for the work of tracing and recovering stolen goods.

In recent years, the case-handling agencies have adhered to the rule of law thinking and methods, and continued to promote the pursuit of escaped and stolen goods from Liang Zuofa, and finally prompted him to take the initiative to return to the country and actively cooperate with the investigation.

The person in charge of the Central Pursuit Office said that Liang Zuofa’s return to the case is the actual result of the discipline inspection and supervision organs earnestly implementing the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, insisting on investigating and pursuing bribes and receiving bribes, and continuing to punish corruption in state-owned enterprises.

We will strengthen our political direction and maintain our political determination, continue to deepen international cooperation in anti-corruption and international pursuit of stolen goods, continue to increase the hunt for corrupt elements fleeing in key areas, and promote comprehensive and strict governance of the party, the construction of party style and clean government. The anti-corruption struggle continues to develop in depth.
