Recently, the Jinjiang Work Station of the Quanzhou Maritime Police Bureau of Fujian Province successfully cracked a suspected case of smuggling eel fry, seized 1 vehicle involved, and seized 15 boxes of smuggled eel fry with a value of about 5 million yuan.

  A few days ago, the Jinjiang Workstation of the Bureau received an online report stating that there were suspected smuggling activities in the jurisdiction.

After verifying and analyzing the wire report, the station quickly dispatched law enforcement ships and vehicles to the target area to conduct sea-land joint investigations.

Subsequently, law enforcement officers of the station found suspicious vehicles along the coast of Weitou Bay, Jinjiang, and immediately launched investigations and successfully controlled the suspects and vehicles.

After searching, 15 foam boxes were found in the rear compartment of the suspected vehicle, all of which contained several eel fry, and the suspect was unable to provide the legal source of the eel fry.

Law enforcement officers at the station seized suspected vehicles and eel fry according to law.

At present, the case is under further investigation.
