Several customers of the Fnac Darty group, targeted by a phishing campaign, have received false order confirmation emails, the two brands announced on Sunday, urging their customers to be cautious, according to the Clubic site.

Some customers have received a fake email, with the group's logo and graphic charter, confirming their order.

“Hello X…, your order has been confirmed.

It is being prepared and will be delivered as soon as possible.

You can always cancel your order before it is shipped by clicking here: https://www.darty.com.annulation-ndr.com/index3.php?id=100440944 ”.

Do not click on the link

The first reflex being to cancel an order that we have not carried out, we would be tempted to click on the link.

Error, by clicking on this link hackers can recover usernames, passwords and even bank details.

This is called phishing.

"We would like to inform you that Darty (or Fnac) is currently the subject of identity theft for fraudulent purposes", indicated the sign specializing in household appliances and electronics in an email sent to its customers.

The two brands add that “customer data that could appear on these fraudulent e-mails does not at any time relate to a leak from Darty (Fnac)”.

If you clicked on the link, the group recommends that you immediately change your passwords and notify your bank in the event of a suspicious movement.
