At Narita Airport on the night of the 1st, a rubbing mark was found on the fuselage of the cargo plane of Nippon Cargo Airlines, which arrived after landing again.

It is believed that it may have come into contact with the runway during the landing, and the Japan Transport Safety Board will dispatch an investigator to investigate it in the future.

According to the Narita Airport Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, when the Boeing 747 of Nippon Cargo Airlines from Hong Kong to Narita Airport arrived at around 7 pm on the 1st, the aircraft was inspected and found at the bottom of the rear of the fuselage. It is said that a rubbing mark was found over a width of 90 cm and a length of about 3 meters.

The aircraft was a freighter with no passengers and the two crew members were not injured.

According to the airline, the freighter arrived after landing again due to strong winds, but no abnormality was confirmed in the pre-flight inspection, so the aircraft was on the runway when landing at Narita Airport. It means that they may have come into contact.

As a result of the inspection, no abnormality was found on the runway at this time, but the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism recognized it as a "serious incident" that could lead to an accident, and the Japan Transport Safety Board dispatched an aviation accident investigator to Narita Airport. We plan to investigate the cause.
