Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 1st that seven new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
Six of them are infected people confirmed in Sendai City.
It is the first time since the 2nd of last month that the announcement of infection confirmation in Miyagi prefecture has become a single digit.
The total number of infected people is 3,416, including those who have already recovered.
