The closure of shopping centers of more than 20,000m2 was decided on Friday by the government to avoid the crowds.

It is clear that it is causing a certain cacophony for the moment in the Nantes region.

This Monday afternoon, the prefecture of Loire-Atlantique published without explanation an "update" of its list of shopping centers ordered to close their doors.

The Auchan shopping malls in Saint-Sébastien and Trignac are this time concerned, as is Paridis in Nantes.

A little later in the afternoon, Pôle Sud in Basse-Goulaine, Océane and Atout-Sud in Rezé completed the list.

Some of these centers were still open on Monday, while the Sillon de Bretagne gallery, however not mentioned by the prefecture, announced that the curtain was also lowering!

Beaulieu and Atlantis at first

Sunday, a press release from the prefecture announced, however, that only two centers were affected by these closures, namely Beaulieu in Nantes and Atlantis in Saint-Herblain.

In these galleries, only hypermarkets and pharmacies can continue to welcome customers.

According to the terms of the decree, are concerned "sales stores and shopping centers, comprising one or more buildings whose cumulative useful commercial area, calculated according to the conditions of the decree, is greater than or equal to 20,000 square meters".
