This Sunday, the SNCF announces a total interruption of traffic between Dax and Morcenx.

In the Rion sector, "all rail traffic is interrupted until further notice," said SNCF, which strongly recommends its customers to postpone their trip.

The TGV line connecting Bordeaux to the Spanish border has been interrupted since 9 a.m. and until further notice.

About ten trains, TGV or TER, have been affected since the beginning of the morning, with the implementation of alternative transport.

Twenty-four roads cut at midday

The Landes firefighters have carried out nearly 40 interventions since the start of the storm to clear fallen trees, drain cellars or premises.

In Capbreton, a construction crane partially fell on a house, without causing injury.

By midday, 24 roads were closed to traffic due to flooding.

Météo-France has classified the Landes in orange vigilance for the risk of flooding which should persist for a few days.

“In Pontonx and Dax, the levels (on the average Adour basin) are already high.

They will progress until the middle of next week, ”Météo-France forecast.
