"Paris Police 1900" (Paris Police 1900).

From February 8 at Canal +, From February 9 at Amediatek

The turn of the 19th and 20th centuries before the start of the First World War is considered to be the “Belle Époque” for France and some other European states.

However, the creators of the series "Parisian police 1900" invite viewers to look behind the beautiful facade.

As with most detective stories, the story begins with a murder.

The corpse of a young woman was found in the river, but an investigation will show that this sophisticated crime is related to state secrets.

“Violence is a key element because the Belle Epoque, as I found it, was actually a much more violent period in history than we are used to thinking.

The more I studied it, the more political, criminal and domestic violence was revealed to me, ”- script writer Fabien Nouri admitted in an interview with Variety.

He noted that research was of great importance in his work: according to Nuri, real characters and non-fictional stories are by default better than any fiction.

FBI agent Clarissa Starling, the heroine of the cult thriller The Silence of the Lambs, is back in action.

Due to a copyright conflict between Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Dino de Laurentiis's company, which produced the 2013 series Hannibal, Hannibal Lecter will not appear on the tape.

"Clarissa" focuses on the relationship of the main character with the characters in the novel by Thomas Harris, which were not in the previous film adaptation.

The series airs 30 years after the premiere of The Silence of the Lambs starring Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster.

Clarissa was played by Rebecca Breeds, and Buffalo Bill was played by Simon Northwood.

"Young Rock" (The Young Rock).

February 16 on NBC

At the beginning of work on a biopic about himself, Dwayne Johnson set out to make a movie that not only entertains the audience, but also provides some lessons from watching.

As a result, the filmmakers decided to focus on three important periods in the life of an artist and an athlete.

In the tape, Johnson is shown at the age of 10, 15 and 18 years old (played by Adrian Gru, Bradley Constant and Uli Latukefu).

The Rock itself will also appear in the frame.

Viewers will learn that by the age of 13, the future actor managed to live in 13 US states and New Zealand, join the world of wrestling through his father, a professional athlete, and even commit an offense and be arrested in Hawaii.

In his student years, he was seriously going to become a football player, but he was not destined to get into the national football league.

Viewers will be able to learn the details of these and other events from the “wild” and “crazy” series, as its creators and the hero himself believe.

If the tape is successful, Johnson plans to tell other stories from his youth.

The action of the new series by Igor Zaitsev ("Saboteur 2: End of the War", "Great") is set in 1946.

The main characters are police major Shumeiko, nicknamed Satan (played by Konstantin Khabensky) and his new subordinate, combat lieutenant Zhuravlev (Andrei Burkovsky).

Their cooperation begins with an operation to neutralize a criminal group.

According to the director, the main intrigue of the series lies in the psychological confrontation of the central characters: if for Zhuravlev the world is divided into friends and foes, then Shumeiko is used to the fact that the enemy can be deceptively similar to himself.

The atmosphere of the 1940s was recreated, among other things, thanks to a painstaking selection of locations: the tape was filmed at factories in the Moscow Region, which are not working now, as well as in the Morozovsky town on the territory of Tver.

The series has 16 episodes in total, which will be aired weekly.
