Proof that filming is in full swing, Mariska Hargitay posted pictures showing two director's folding chairs bearing the names of the two characters well known to fans of the cult series.

She also shared a black and white selfie with Christopher Meloni.

“It's happening,” she wrote in the caption.

A real happiness for the public when the actor, present since the beginning of the program, had bowed out at the end of the 12th season.

Longevity record

Indeed, the duo played by Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni had allowed

to become an instant classic in the first season aired in 1999. Since then, the series has a longevity record with 21 seasons in prime time .

This spin-off, called

in the original version, will see Elliot Stabler come out of his retirement from the New York police force following a personal tragedy as Deadline reported a few months ago.
