Proof that filming is in full swing, Mariska Hargitay posted pictures showing two director's folding chairs bearing the names of the two characters well known to fans of the cult series.

She also shared a black and white selfie with Christopher Meloni.

“It's happening,” she wrote in the caption.

A real happiness for the public when the actor, present since the beginning of the program, had bowed out at the end of the 12th season.

This spin-off, called

Organized Crime

in the original version, will see Elliot Stabler come out of his retirement from the New York police force following a personal tragedy as Deadline reported a few months ago.

The broadcast is scheduled for spring.
