  Of the 28 newly confirmed cases, 2 were imported cases and 26 were local cases, including 6 cases of unknown origin and 20 related cases.

Among the 6 cases of unknown origin, a female nurse working at Dr. Lin Xuexun’s Clinic in Jiabin Commercial Building, Jordan, was diagnosed. Her last work date is January 29. The clinic will be closed on the 14th, and arrangements need to be made on the 26th of this month. Patients who had been to the clinic on the 29th were tested.

On the evening of January 28, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government designated "restricted areas" in North Point, that is, people in Blocks A, B, C and D of Dongfa Building on Kam Ping Street must stay in their premises and undergo mandatory testing as arranged by the Special Administrative Region Government.

  The Chief Medical Officer of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health, Ou Jiarong, said that there were 8 new confirmed cases in Yau Tsim Mong District that day, including 5 cases in designated areas in Yau Ma Tei.

Three people were diagnosed in Shun'an Building on Dong'an Street, including an 81-year-old mother-in-law and two workers. There were 11 cases in Shun'an Building.

In addition, 6 new confirmed cases have been reported in Kowloon City.

  Five more people were infected at the airport's three-run site, and there were a total of 9 confirmed cases.

Ou Jiarong said that the SAR government has requested that the relevant construction sites be suspended for the 14th and will issue a mandatory inspection announcement.

  Liu Jiaxian, Chief Administrative Manager (Quality and Standards) of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, said that as of 9 am on the 30th, 60 more confirmed patients have recovered and been discharged in the past 24 hours. A total of 9362 patients have recovered and discharged so far.

There are still 801 confirmed patients in 22 public hospitals and AsiaWorld-Expo community treatment facilities, 28 of whom are in critical condition, 38 are in serious condition, and the rest are in stable condition.
