[Explanation] After nightfall, the Zhongshengxin Mingda Supermarket in Dongchang District, Tonghua City, Jilin Province is brightly lit, especially in the quiet city.

Recently, Liu Kaifeng and Sun He, who are volunteering here, can’t take a moment to spare. Orders are coming in one after another. They have to sort goods, load cars, and deliver them.

Liu Kaifeng and Sun He are junior high school classmates.

After the Tonghua epidemic broke out, the two signed up as volunteers on the front line of the fight against the epidemic, responsible for coordinating with the community, killing them, and purchasing supplies for the quarantined residents.

As of 24:00 on January 28, Jilin Province had reported a total of 316 confirmed cases of this epidemic, 10 cases were cured and discharged, and 1 case died.

Currently, Tonghua City is treating 212 cases in hospitals, and 77 cases of asymptomatic infections.

Liu Kaifeng, who was in the third year of the Central South University of Forestry and Technology, returned to his hometown across thousands of miles.

Worried about the safety of his family, he rushed back as soon as he learned of the outbreak in Tonghua.

I returned to Tonghua on January 15th. On the evening of the 14th, I heard news that there was a suspected patient in Tonghua. At that time, I felt very worried, worried about the situation in the small town of Tonghua, and worried about my parents. My grandparents wanted to go home in a hurry.

[Explanation] After returning to Tonghua, Liu Kaifeng wanted to contribute to his hometown, so he went to the Zhongshengxin Mingda Supermarket in Dongchang District, a high-risk area, to sort and deliver dishes with 40 volunteers.

Here, he also works with Sun He, who goes to school in Changchun City.

Sun He also returned at the beginning of the local epidemic. He also joined the local Youth Volunteer Association to fight the epidemic.

The main content of the work is to sort ingredients, settle accounts, weigh, and deliver some vegetables purchased by residents to their homes.

In the supermarket, we can complete about 300 orders per day, which can basically guarantee the delivery of food to 300 households.

[Explanation] Although wearing protective clothing, this group of young people walked briskly in the supermarket, completing each order accurately.

In this silent battle, they found their worth.
