Kimberose releases her new album "Out" on Friday.
Guest of "Culture Médias" the same day, the singer looks back on her debut in 2013. She had participated in season 10 of "New Star", broadcast on the channel then named D8.

in 2018, Kimberose (a duo that became a solo career) returns on Friday with the album
Out
.
Invited on this occasion of the
Culture Médias program
, the singer evokes a somewhat forgotten episode: her debut in 2013 in season 10 of the
Nouvelle Star

Successfully passing the auditions and theater tests, she is eliminated at the end of the second live bonus.
Kimberose explains why she does not "keep at all" a good memory of this experience.

"I did not like this show at all, I didn't like the production of this show either," explains the singer, adding that this is only her personal experience.
"I think they weren't respectful, at least to me. It didn't do me any good at all."
"I thought I was going to spend my days singing"
The singer remembers a time when her ego "really took a lot", discovering the trailer of one of the two bonuses in which she participated.
At this time of the competition, there are only ten candidates left, which the public decides each week by their votes.
"I was completely cut from the trailer, as if I did not exist in the program," the singer is still surprised.
But beyond these "small pettiness", Kimberose was especially disappointed with the format of the show.
"It's a television show above all, and not a music show," she understands today.
"Naively, I thought I was going to spend my days singing. Actually, we were filming things about makeup between girls, uninteresting things."
Eight years later, the former candidate has finally managed to find a place in the music industry.
