In Kagawa Prefecture, it was newly confirmed that six men and women in their 20s to 40s in Takamatsu City and Sanuki City were infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Kagawa Prefecture to 624.
The prefecture also announced that a woman in her 80s, who had been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus, died on the 27th.
