Raphaëlle Constant met women activists, voices emerging to participate in the construction of a more just society.

Publicity

Active in the street or on social networks, these activists take risks to question the place of women in Burkinabè society.

They rise up to defend the rights of women and girls in social, economic, political, health, legal and citizen fields: the fight against excision, against early marriage, defense of the political rights of women or LGBTQ, access to education and security ... Their struggles are manifold to move the lines and allow the emancipation of women.

What do these women bring to the African continent?

How did they become activists for women's rights?

And how are they trying to transform Burkinabè society?

Meetings with activists, their families and testimonies from civil society to understand where feminism is today in Burkina Faso.
