  Beijing News Express (Reporter Li Yukun) On January 28, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment held a regular press conference to respond to the recent Dunhuang deforestation incident that has attracted social attention.

  The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment stated that the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has established an investigation team to conduct on-site investigations through satellite remote sensing, on-site inspections, visits and forums, etc. The investigation is basically over.

The next step will be to feedback the survey results to Gansu Province.

If problems are found, they will be held accountable.
