Despite the health crisis, bookstores have succeeded in limiting breakage in 2020, and comics are not for nothing.
Indeed, on the eve of the Angoulême Festival awards ceremony (it will be in June for the physical event), GfK Market Intelligence data from the comic book market were published on Thursday by press release and reveal a (new) record year with 53 million copies purchased in France (+ 9%) for generated sales of € 591 million (+ 6%).
