The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has decided to make it possible to search the Internet for the names of babysitters who have been ordered to suspend business, following a series of incidents in which babysitters commit obscene acts to children entrusted to them through matching sites. It was.

As the demand for babysitters increased due to the increase in working women, two sitter men who were requested through the matching site were arrested one after another on suspicion of obscene acts on their children.

In response to this, an expert meeting of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare summarized recurrence prevention measures on the 28th.

By doing so, we will inform the prefectures that we can issue a business suspension order to babysitters who have obscenely acted on their children in about two years, and we will be able to search the name and time on the Internet.

In addition, after clearly stating in the guidelines that the business operator who operates the matching site also has a certain responsibility to protect the safety of children, whether the sitter has notified the prefecture or received a business suspension order in the past. You will be asked for confirmation at the time of registration to see if it has been done.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare plans to introduce such measures nationwide from April.
