Coronavirus: Where is the vaccination campaign in France?

Vaccinate 70 million people against the coronavirus in France by the end of the summer?

Really ?

This is the promise made by the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, but several recent announcements could thwart the government's plans for vaccination.

Until now France relied, in large part, on a delivery of vaccines from AstraZeneca, but the pharmaceutical company will not be able to keep its promises.

The Ministry of Health has announced that the British laboratory will deliver only 4.6 million doses to France by March, half as many as expected.

Bad news that comes on top of the vaccine production failures launched by the Pasteur Institute and the delay taken by Sanofi, wiping out the hope of obtaining a French vaccine quickly.

We take stock of the supply of anti-Covid vaccines in France in the video at the top of this article.
