It is not only face-to-face classes that have disappeared with the health crisis.

Side jobs too, in restaurants, shops or cafes, adding financial insecurity to the isolation of some students.

To partially fill this gap, Carole Delga (PS), the president of the Occitanie region, announced on Wednesday the creation of 300 student jobs "to be filled from February and until the end of the summer".

Where ?

In the administrative services of the regional council and on missions linked to the emergency measures deployed: for example, for the management of appointments for the transport on demand of elderly people without a mobility solution to the vaccination centers.

Others will be able to integrate, throughout the regional territory, the logistics for the screening of high school students.

Online offers

Carole Delga is also launching an appeal to other communities and "to all economic players", via the consular chambers for the latter, to join this system.

The specific job offers will appear "soon" on the site of the Regional Youth Information Center (Crij).
