The Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire considered “interesting” the proposal of the delegate general of LREM Stanislas Guerini to create a zero rate loan of 10,000 euros for young people between 18 and 25 years old.
"All the ideas which will allow young students, who today are in an extremely difficult situation to be told, that we are providing them with solutions, that we are providing them with proposals, deserve to be studied", declared the Minister on France Culture.
These loans would be reimbursed "only if we have the ability to repay them, because we have found a profession, a job, which allows you to repay them", further justified Bruno Le Maire.
Tuesday, Stanislas Guérini had proposed the creation of a "young capital" to help 18-25 years to "get started in life", via the creation of this loan of 10,000 euros at zero rate.
