[Explanation] In late January, a loud reading came from an old house at No. 28 Hou Street, Fushun County, Zigong City, Sichuan Province. University student volunteers were giving lessons to the children in the "Mother Song's Love Remedial Class".
There are more than 20 elementary school students sitting in a small classroom, and the walls are covered with pennants thanking Granny Song.
"Mr. Song" is the 77-year-old Song Shufen in Houjie Community, Fushun County.
In 2007, she used her meager income to build the first family extracurricular tutoring class in Fushun County in her house of more than 10 square meters. For 14 years, she has insisted on compulsory education every weekend to train children in the neighborhood and has accumulated training children. Nearly 300 people.
People affectionately call the tutoring class the "caring tutoring class" and Song Shufen the "caring mother-in-law".
The love story played here originated from an "angry" experience in 2007.
That year, a group of children played in Song Shufang's courtyard and knocked down all the piles of firewood.
This made Song Shufang very angry. She invited the children into the house to criticize and educate them.

Sitting in our house at that time, I told them (to them) how to be a good student, and I told them the truth.
I found the rules for primary school students again, and I just found some learning materials and told them.
Later, I said (to them), you are willing to come, (after) every Sunday afternoon (you).
[Explanation] Since then, going to the house every Sunday afternoon to listen to stories and study has become their unchanging agreement.
Song Shufen knows that these children are left-behind students in the community and lack the care of their parents.
Driven by a strong sense of responsibility, Song Shufen decided to run free home extracurricular tutoring classes at home, and bought chalk, homework books and other teaching aids at his own expense.

(After the class started) I just made preparations. The door panel (removed) was used as a blackboard. The (desk) was the (table) where we ate. Without a round table, it was just a square table. You can only sit eight ( child).
The knowledge they came to learn was one that was not available in the classroom, such as safety, transportation, and hygiene. There were some plans for how to honor their parents and elders.
[Explanation] Under Song Shufang’s careful training, more and more children have entered this "caring family". Among them, some have been admitted to the university with excellent grades, and some have grown into eugenics that teachers and classmates like .
Later, not only the left-behind students, but some parents also sent their children here to accept the good influence of Song's mother-in-law.

Some units and individuals successively sent books and teaching materials; the community neighborhood committee funded the expansion of Song’s classroom and leveled the ground of the courtyard dam; many volunteer organizations also participated in the activities of the “caring tutoring class” and invited college students and The teacher is in class.
