The government has provided sustainability benefits to small and medium-sized enterprises that have been hit by the new coronavirus.

Under these circumstances, an initiative to clean school uniforms for child-rearing families free of charge, which was started by a cleaning shop in Kagoshima prefecture as a "giving back to benefits", is spreading nationwide.

This initiative was started by a laundry shop in Aira City, Kagoshima Prefecture, to "give back" by using the sustained benefits provided to support child-rearing families, and wash school uniforms and kindergarten clothes free of charge.

This campaign has spread to the cleaning shops that support it, and Naoto Yamamoto, who runs the shop in Sakuragaoka, Kagoshima City, ironed the school uniforms that he had received and carefully finished them.

At this store, the number of customers is decreasing due to the increase in remote work and the decrease in opportunities to go out, and it is said that the sustainable benefits helped the management.

Mr. Yamamoto decided to continue this initiative until March, saying, "In the dark news, I started wanting to have a bright world. Not only do children smile, but the hassle of washing is also a factor. I want my parents to smile when they are released. "

Currently, 236 stores nationwide are participating in this initiative.
