The chairman, who has been hiding and working for about 50 years at the top of the radical "core faction" who has repeated guerrilla incidents in the past, met on the 27th and denied his involvement in a series of incidents.

Meanwhile, police officials are wary of some members as they continue to engage in illegal activities.

The meeting was held by Takeo Shimizu (83), the head of the extremist organization "Core School".

Mr. Shimizu appeared at the rally last year for the first time in 51 years, although the Metropolitan Police Department had hardly grasped the trend in the activity called "non-public" for a long time.

At the press conference on the 27th, he answered the question after saying, "The corona wreck has messed up society. We have to fight aloud."

According to police officials, the core faction is believed to have caused more than 100 incidents, including the "Shibuya riot case" in which a police box was attacked in Shibuya, Tokyo in 1971 and police officers were killed, but Chairman Shimizu said a series of incidents. While denying his involvement, he insisted that it was a "necessary class struggle."

In addition, he did not disclose the state of the latent activity for about 50 years or the detailed actual situation of the organization.

It is extremely unusual for extremist leaders to meet, and one of the investigative executives has analyzed that "there may be an aim to tighten the organization by coming out."

Police are wary that some members are still active illegally.
