The Control Commission of the International Football Federation (FIFA) rejected the candidacies of Ahmad, Constant Omari and Kheïreddine Zetchi for the elections of the African Football Confederation (CAF) scheduled for March 12, 2021 in Rabat.

The first, already suspended by FIFA, was seeking a second term at the head of CAF, while the second, current interim boss of African football, was aiming for a seat on the FIFA Council, like Zetchi.
