Arno Klarsfeld is convinced that animals have a soul "like human beings".

"For a long time, animals were considered to be machines," recalls the lawyer.
This, according to him, is what made their exploitation easier.
"We said the same thing about blacks, Jews, or even women. And when we refuse the fact that certain people or certain categories of the population have a conscience, it is easier to mistreat them," he said. .
"Scientists now show that animals have feelings," continues Arno Klarsfeld, justifying that we must change our relationship with them.
