The Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Jarida" reported that the court.

It issued its final verdict in support of the first instance judgment and the Court of Appeal, after the Public Prosecution charged the accused with carrying out an act of violence against three persons on board the plane when it was flying to Kuwait International Airport,

The indictment report stated that the citizen assaulted one of the passengers on the plane and the members of the guest crew, and destroyed one of the seats in the plane after the intervention of the aviation security personnel to try to control and restrict it, which led to the plane’s forced landing at Zahedan Airport in Iran.

The accident dates back to February 2019, when the citizen caused an emergency landing of a Kuwaiti Airways plane coming from the Thai capital, Bangkok, for two hours in Iran, after causing chaos on the plane and refusing to comply with orders to sit down and remain calm.
