China News Service, Hong Kong, January 26 (Reporter Zhang Xiaoxi) The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, told the media on January 26 that Jotun’s mandatory detection of the new crown virus in “restricted areas” was generally smooth and effective. Approximately 7,000 residents of 150 buildings have been tested and 13 confirmed cases have been successfully identified, which is believed to help cut the chain of virus transmission.

At present, more than 200 people in the area who have not yet undergone compulsory testing have been found. In this regard, the SAR government will follow up and continue relevant enforcement actions.
