A fire broke out in Kunohe Village, Iwate Prefecture, and two bodies were found.

The police are confirming that the parents and children have died because they have lost contact with their 75-year-old mother and 46-year-old son who live in this house.

Around 3:10 am on the 25th, a local resident reported to the fire department that a fire was coming out of the house of Yaeko Onodera (75) in Toda, Kunohe Village.



The fire was extinguished after about four and a half hours, but one wooden one-story house was burned down, and the burnt remains and the bodies of two people of unknown gender were found in the nearby premises.



Two people, Mr. Onodera and his son, Mr. Ikki (46), live in the house, and they cannot be contacted after the fire.



Police are investigating the cause of the fire and fire as well as confirming the found body as Mr. Onodera's parent and child.



The site is a village with houses scattered in rice fields and forests, about 600 meters west of Route 340, which runs through the center of Kunohe Village.
