A second chance rather than a sanction.

The town hall of Oradour-sur-Glane and the national association of the families of the martyrs will not finally file a complaint against the author of a rap clip in the ruins of the village after the apologies made by the latter, this Sunday.

In agreement with the president of the Haute-Vienne department and the president of the Center de la Mémoire, the town hall and the association have decided not to initiate legal proceedings and hope that "such incidents will not happen again".

On the site of the town hall, the Limougeaud rapper affirms "deeply regret his gesture" and "presents his sincere apologies to the families of the victims of the massacre of June 10, 1944".

Last Friday, he had published an extract of the clip of his next title where we could recognize the martyr village of Oradour-sur-Glane.

Obviously unauthorized shooting.

Extracts removed from social networks

A complaint was filed in the wake but, ultimately, the case will not go to court.

In addition to the apologies, the clip was not released and the clips were taken from social media.

The town hall nevertheless wishes to recall that “you cannot do just anything in a site like Oradour.

It is an international site, symbol of misfortunes, symbol of pain and it is a place of meditation.
