Kagawa Prefecture and Takamatsu City announced on the 24th that it was confirmed that four men and women in Takamatsu City, both teenagers and 70s, were newly infected with the new coronavirus.
The prefecture also announced that a man in his 80s, who had been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus, died on the 23rd.
This brings the number of confirmed infections to 588 in Kagawa Prefecture, and the total number of deaths to 13.
