Dense fog envelops Qiongzhou Strait, causing large numbers of cross-sea vehicles to be stranded

On January 24, aerial photography of Haikou’s New Sea Port wharf, many vehicles crossing the sea were stranded here.

Affected by heavy fog, the Qiongzhou Strait Haikou-Haian route was suspended from the evening of the 23rd to the afternoon of the 24th, resulting in a large number of cross-sea vehicles stranded.

The Hainan Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange warning signal for heavy fog at sea at 14:20 on the 24th, indicating that the foggy weather in the Qiongzhou Strait will continue until 12:00 on the 25th.
