The report stated that on January 22, 2021, after receiving the police information about the deflagration case of the Zhejiang Medical First Hospital, the public security organs immediately carried out investigations, on-site investigators treatment, hidden danger investigation, and order maintenance.

Basic situation of the case

　　According to the investigation, the suspect Lu Moumou suffered from a long-term kidney disease that has not been cured for a long time, and was dissatisfied with several hospitals where he had been treated. From December 2020 to before the incident, he used fireworks and pine perfume in his residence. Self-made explosives and want to choose one of the hospitals to retaliate.

At about 10:52 am on January 22, the Lu entered the 6th floor of Building 6 of Zhejiang Medical First Hospital and threw ignited self-made deflagration at the elevator entrance of the floor. The medical staff found and stepped on the fuse. The scene did not cause deflagration.

At about 10:53, the Lu rushed to the 5th floor, ignited a self-made deflagration and threw it to the nurse's desk to deflagrate, causing burns to a medical staff.

After that, Lu took out a kitchen knife from his bag and broke into the ward, injuring a patient and a medical staff.

During the process, he and another medical staff were burned. Later, Lu was controlled by the on-site medical staff and the security and civilian police who rushed there and brought to the public security organ for review.

At present, the injuries of the above-mentioned personnel are stable.

Basic situation of the suspect

　　The suspect Lu Moumou, male, 39 years old, from Chun'an County, Hangzhou City.

In 2014, he was sentenced to three years' imprisonment for the crime of arson. The court found that Lu suffered from paranoid mental disorder, and he had limited criminal liability at the time of the case.

Because of his long-term kidney disease and mental illness, he has been treated in many hospitals in provinces, cities and counties.
