Just heard the awful news about Larry King.

He taught me so much.

He was a true man.

He probably even taught me that word. So long pal, thanks for all the laughs.

Say hi to Rickles.

Screenwriter Larry Karaszewski calls King a "legend".

"We had the honor of working with Larry King on our miniseries."

A true legend has passed.

We had the honor of working with Larry King on our OJ miniseries.

Larry graciously agreed to play himself and was so full of stories about how his show became the nightly epicenter for all the personalities involved in that case.

"I have never known anyone so friendly," writes fellow journalist Keith Olbermann on Twitter.

My friend Larry King has died. It is literally true that thousands of us can make that sad statement this morning.

While he was easily caricatured, I've never known anybody who made a bigger deal out of the slightest kindness afforded him.

Peter R. de Vries shares on Twitter that he is proud that he "as a simple Dutch journalist" has ever been on the talk show of the "iconic" Larry King.

“I loved the format of his light-hearted CNN show and his beautiful voice,” presenter Andy Cohen writes on Twitter about the talk show that King hosted for over 25 years.

Piers Morgan, who succeeded King at CNN, calls him a "hero," even though the two had disagreements.

"He said watching my show felt like your mother-in-law driving your new Bentley off a cliff (he's married eight times so an expert on mother-in-law). But he was a brilliant presenter and a masterful TV interviewer."
