In a statement released on Saturday, the High Authority for Health insisted on the need to speed up vaccination.

To do this, she recommends extending the time between the two injections of the vaccine: from 21 days today, it could drop to 42 days.

As the coronavirus continues to spread worryingly in France, the vaccination race is intensifying.

To speed up the process, and in particular protect people at risk, the Haute Autorité de Santé recommends that the two injections necessary for immunization be spaced a little further apart.

In a press release published on Saturday, the HAS wrote that it "recommends extending to 6 weeks the time between 2 doses of messenger RNA vaccine (vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna)" and this "in order to protect a larger number of people at risk of hospitalization or death ".
