The second day of the group stage of CHAN 2020 ends this Saturday with group D. And for the first meeting of the day, Zambia and Guinea faced each other in Limbé.

Both teams entered the tournament well by winning their first match.

Zambia had beaten Tanzania (2-0) and Guinea had offered a victory against Namibia (3-0).

In the second half, Guinea took the lead with a goal from Victor Kantabadouno in the 58th minute.

Zambia then hung up the wagons, leveling in the 87th minute with a goal from Spencer Sautu as Guinea increasingly came under Zambian assault.

This draw is a disappointment for Guinea, dominating in terms of possession, which could hope for a qualification for the quarter-finals in case of victory.

The two teams remain at the head of the group, however, regardless of the result of Namibia-Tanzania, played in the evening.
