Recently, a large fire broke out in a residential building in Babu District, Hezhou City, Guangxi. There are a large number of liquefied gas tanks stored in the residential building. There is a danger of explosion at any time and the situation is very critical.

The Hezhou City Fire Rescue Detachment immediately dispatched 2 fire-fighting and rescue teams, 4 fire trucks and 24 firefighters rushed to the scene for disposal.

After the fire fighting officers arrived at the scene, they found that the burning building was a one-story brick-concrete structure with a total construction area of about 60 square meters. The fire was located in the east sundries room. The fire spread rapidly and the roof was burned through.

Due to the small distance between the surrounding houses and a large amount of flammable and combustible materials such as wood, the liquefied gas tanks in the houses are like "time bombs". Once an explosion occurs or the fire spreads out of control, it is very easy to cause casualties and property losses.

After understanding the situation, the detachment commander quickly coordinated with the police on the scene to quickly evacuate the surrounding people to prevent the leaked liquefied gas from exploding, causing casualties; and forming three combat teams, the first and second groups laid two main hose lines, A remote-controlled fire fighting water cannon and two foam guns suppressed the fire. The third group quickly entered the fire scene under the cover of the water cannons and moved dangerous liquefied gas tanks to a safe area with bare hands to prevent explosion accidents.

After nearly 2 hours of emergency treatment, the dangerous situation was successfully handled.

Fire commanders transferred 121 liquefied gas tanks.

Finally, after inspection, there was no possibility of re-ignition, and the commander organized the commanders to pack equipment and return.

At the moment, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
