The famous stuntman Rémy Julienne died on the night of Thursday to Friday as a result of Covid-19, at the age of 90, we learned Friday from concordant sources.

, had been in intensive care at the hospital of Montargis (Loiret) since the beginning of the month.

“What had to happen happened, he left us at the end of the evening (Thursday).

It was predictable, he was on an artificial respirator, ”said a relative.

The death was confirmed by the deputy of Loiret, Jean-Pierre Door, a friend of the former stuntman.

Rémy Julienne, a native of Cepoy (Loiret), near Montargis, made his debut in cinema in 1964. Then French motocross champion, he overtook Jean Marais on the set of Fantômas.

Star next to the stars

His career will span around fifty years and will allow him to double notably Yves Montand, Alain Delon, Roger Moore and Sean Connery.
