Recently, the reporter came to Qilian County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, located in the hinterland of Qilian Mountains. The provincial folk craftsman Wang Zhongxiang fermented, rolled, pasted, dyed, and polished yak dung on the grassland through more than ten processes, and matched it at the foot of Qilian Mountains. The jade fragments, tree branches, etc., are made into “flower” handicrafts of various shapes and bright colors, thereby driving local herdsmen to become rich.
At present, this invention has been successfully declared as a national patent-a method for preparing artistic flowers from cattle and sheep dung.
