Has Joe Biden expected too much in his first week of work in the new job?

In the endeavor to iron out all the mistakes made by his predecessor in the White House as quickly as possible, the 78-year-old seems to have lost track of things a little.

Among other things, Biden has not only withdrawn the exit from the Paris Agreement and the World Health Organization (WHO) and the entry ban for people from Muslim countries, but also the right to vote for women, English as the official language and the independence of the USA.

Too many files in the Oval Office

"I was a bit surprised when I was crossing out and crumpling up this illegible parchment," admits the sprightly gentleman of the White House, to whom the Trump decrees to be corrected had been delivered in wheelbarrows.

Apparently a few too many shelf meters had been brought to the Oval Office from the State Archives - including the Declaration of Independence from 1776.

"I fell asleep in between," Biden apologizes for the little faux pas he attributes to a lack of practice.

During the past year, he mainly solved crossword puzzles and did not have to sign as much, the Trump conqueror said.

“And then everything becomes blurred: End the exit from the Paris Climate Agreement, withdraw from the WHO, reverse exit from Great Britain.

You get very fuzzy! "

USA mostly not affected except for the east coast

Fortunately, the White House mishap means nothing for much of the United States.

After all, only 13 of the total of 50 states had signed the declaration of independence, which Biden had now invalidated.

That means: Nothing will change for 37 states.

And for the colonies on the North American Atlantic coast, too, except for the introduction of left-hand traffic, the new national anthem and visits by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, everything will remain the same, promises Governor Biden his British compatriots.
